The Minor Ball Hockey Association of Edmonton would like to welcome you to our website for the upcoming Canadian Junior Ball Hockey Nationals. This website will provide you with information and updates on the 2009 Junior Nationals, that will be held in Edmonton, Alberta. We will have updates for you on the tournament, listing of teams & rosters, stats & standings during the tournament, a bit of history on past Nationals, photos during the event, plus much more! Keep checking back ... we will be updating this site on a regular basis.


DATES & LOCATION OF VENUE

The 2009 Junior Nationals will start play on July 30 and run until August 2. All games will be played at the Edmonton West Soccer Centre, a 4-plex facility located in the West end of our city. The West Soccer Centre is minutes away from the host hotel and the world famous West Edmonton Mall. To check out the West Soccer Centre, visit their website at  www.edsoccercentres.com


TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE & EVENTS

The schedule for Junior Nationals is prepared by Canadian Ball Hockey Association. It will be done any day now, and as soon as we get it, we will post it up on our site. The events during Jr. Nationals have been set, and here is a look at what is happening:

-Wed. July 29th        -Team Practices, CBHA Minor Council Meeting
-Wed. July 29th        -Meetings for Coaches, Meeting for Referee group
-Thu. July 30th        -Opening Ceremonies, Round-Robin games begin 
-Fri. July 31st        -Round-Robin games continue  
-Sat. August 1st       -Playoff games, Banquet at Mayfield Inn Hotel
-Sun. August 2nd       -Gold Medal games, presentation of medals
